Lesson 9: Learning the Names of the Quantities 16 to 19 with Coloured Beads

In this lesson children will see the quantity, learn the name, and the bead count. It is intended to teach children the names of numbers 16 through 19 by combining quantities and recognizing them as separate numbers later. The ten bar is an important early introduction to the units of ones and tens.
